Filipino-American model Helena Belmonte died after falling off Renaissance Tower 1000 in Ortigas, Pasig City on Thursday, March 20, 2014 at around 1:30 a.m.
Helena Belmonte died on the spot after falling off from 28th floor of the condominium. The victim landed in an air-conditioning unit exhaust vent on the 7th floor of the building.
Based on the investigation conducted by the authorities, the victim identified as Helena Belmonte possibly committed suicide. The authorities also retrieved a suicide note from the incident.

According to the authorities, her boyfriend and some of her friends were inside the building when the incident happened.
Her boyfriend who was identified as Marcel Crespo, and her friends thought that Helena Belmonte was inside the bedroom of the unit, however, they had noticed that she was gone.
The model reportedly had a drink with her friends before she took her life. The authorities are still conducting an investigation regarding the case of Helena Belmonte.
Based on her social media accounts, Helena Belmonte is a 28-year-old model who previously worked at SM Sungl(–foul word(s) removed–) and Mega Magazine.
Helena Belmonte was also featured with primetime princess Kim Chiu in one of the cover issue of Mega Magazine.
Helena Belmonte is the daughter of Joan Lorraine Belmonte, the Founding Creative Director of One MEGA Group Inc. She finished her college degree at Touro College in Berlin, a Jewish-American institution.
