The lone Filipino-American candidate of American Idol Season 13, Malaya Watson, performed the song “When I Was Your Man” as popularized by Bruno Mars during the Top 10 Performance of the American Idol Finalist on Wednesday night (US Time), Thursday morning in Manila, Philippines.
The 16-year-old former tuba player prepared for the song so much, according to her the songs tells a story of one of her family members. Malaya performed the song with her back to normal hair style.
