International donations poured out to the Philippines after the devastation brought about by the worst typhoon that hit the country last week with the central provinces in the Visayas region calling for immediate help not only from the government but also from the international committee.

The Philippine President Benigno S. Aquino III has already ordered the creation of a website that will track the foreign aid being brought in for the victims of super typhoon Yolanda, as announced by Malacañang said Friday.

The announcement was made by Deputy Presidential Spokesperson Abigail Valte during a media briefing, the President has given instruction for the creation of a website that will display how much of the aid was coursed through government agencies for transparency purposes.

According to the announcement the website will display “who are the accountable persons and agencies.” and where the aid will be funneled, as well as the status of the international aid.

Spokesperson Valte also stated that the Department of Foreign Affairs has been preparing the matrix on the foreign aid. The national government also announced that the administration continues to take the needed actions to (–foul word(s) removed–)ist those affected by super typhoon Yolanda.

The PNP is also augmenting the Philippine Coast Guard in grouping people boarding ships and leaving the affected areas of Tacloban City, the worst affected city by super typhoon Yolanda.
