Marcos Jr. Commends PCSO for Outstanding Financial Performance
PCSO – The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office was once again recognized as a top-performing government-owned and controlled corporations or GOCC in the Philippines.
Millions of Filipinos join the lottery games conducted by the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office daily as many are hoping that their lives will be changed by a jackpot win from one of the major lotto games. Many Filipinos won multi-million jackpot prizes for hitting the winning combination.

Recently, during the GOCC day held earlier this month, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office was once again held as one of the best-performing GOCCs in the country. Based on Remate, the state entity has made substantial dividend remittance to the national government.
The PCSO remains under the lead of its General Manager, Mel Robles, who immediately credited the success of the government-owned corporation to the entire officials of the agency as well as the dedication and hard work of all the personnel.
Pres. Ferdinand Marcos Jr. and Department of Finance Secretary Frederick Go personally recognized the outstanding performance of the government-owned corporation and GM Robles welcomed the recognition.
“The PCSO will continue to fulfill its dual mandate of generating funds for charity while supporting the national government through dividend remittances,” Robles said.
Based on the report, the PCSO has posted a remittance of P1.61 billion to the national government. It is one of the 15 contributors that were recognized. According to Go, some 50 GOCCs collectively posted a historic P147.15 billion in dividend remittances.
“The agency’s revenues from its gaming operations enable the ongoing implementation of various charitable programs, including medical assistance, donations of patient transport vehicles, institutional partnerships, corporate social responsibility initiatives, and other services benefiting millions of Filipinos nationwide,” the PCSO General Manager said.
