A graduate of Cebu Institute of Medicine, Blake Warren Coloma Ang, topped the latest Physician Licensure Examination. The Ang Family are lumads from Surigao, Blake studied in Cebu.

Blake Warren studied p(–foul word(s) removed–)ed the Nursing Licensure Examination last 2008. He took medicine at the Cebu Institute of Medicine under a scholarship program. The young doctor stated during an interview with ABS-CBN, that he was in the grocery when he received a text message from his father that he p(–foul word(s) removed–)ed the exam with flying colors.

According to Dr. Blake Warren Ang, the exam was really difficult particularly in the section on Pathology. Dr. Ang stated that during the first weekend it was OK but starting on Sunday during the first weekend he admitted that the exam was indeed difficult.
The newly-licensed doctor, also stated that he learned a lot during his internship at the Philippine General Hospital. His school the Cebu Institute of Medicine got a 100% p(–foul word(s) removed–)ing rate with all 79 examinees p(–foul word(s) removed–)ed the exam.
