Tony Mitchell Led Talk ‘N Text Overtime Victory Over Barako Bull Scoring 48 Points

The Talk ‘N Text may not be complete but their import executed one of the most prolific performance in the PBA Governors Cup 2013 as Tony Mitchell shouldered the load for the Tropang Texters victory over Barako Bull with the final score at 118-113.

The game ended in overtime victory for the Tropang Texters and Tony Mitchell showed his worth as an import scoring with 48 points and 11 rebounds, continuing his explosive performance in the season-ending conference of the PBA.

With the absence of Talk ‘N Text superstars who are currently resting after their successful stint in the FIBA Asia 2013, Mitchell got the support of new Tropang Texters Sean Anthony and Jai Reyes while Ryan Reyes contributed the much needed local support for the team.

Sean Anthony the newest acquisition of Tropang Texters scored with 23 points and 8 rebounds while Jai Reyes, an emergency inclusion on the squad following the absence of the team’s key guards, contributed 11 points.

The Talk ‘N Text were trailing most the way, but the Texters made a 21-0 run in the third quarter that turned the things around for the Philippine Cup champion despite missing its key players.
