The world’s most popular basketball player LeBron “King” James played an exhibition game with the Gilas Pilipinas and a select group of UAAP & NCAA cagers during his “Witness History” event at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City on July 23, 2013.

The Team LeBron includes Bobby Ray Parks, Kiefer Ravena and Terrence Romeo to name a few, they gave Gilas a hard time although they were defeated by a slim margin at the end of the 10-minute scrimmage.
At the end of the scrimmage LeBron explained why he missed his last two shots that could win the game against the national team, “is because his jersey is too damn small.” LeBron stated.
LeBron James promised to come back to the Philippines to continue to inspire especially the youngster. He was thankful with his Filipino fans and he even mentioned his Fil-Am coach Erik Spoelstra during his earlier interview.
