The management of the third largest television network in the Philippines, TV5 have denied the rumors that Willie Revillame received a P90 million/month salary from the network.
The denial of the rumored report was clarified by TV5 through a text message sent by the company to entertainment site, Pep.Ph. The company strongly denied that the TV5 Executives have already decided not to renew the contract of Willie Revillame after he demanded a P90-million a month talent show.
The Wowowillie’s Business Unit Head Jay Montelibano issued the following statement through Pep.ph
” don’t think there’s any truth to that coz Kuya Willie and I were together last night at Wil’s Events Place, hence no such meeting took place.
“I also have no idea where the 90M/mo is coming from.
“And besides, new TV5 president Noel Lorenzana will just (–foul word(s) removed–)ume his role starting June 1 so i guess no one would be in authority yet to sit down and nego with us re renewal.”
