The Philippines most popular pop star, dubbed as the Pop Star Princess Sarah Geronimo was nominated in a total of three categories for the World Music Awards 2013.
The 24-year-old singer from the Philippines, Sarah G, have been nominated previously with the Kid’s Choice Awards 2013 but was defeated in the category “Best Asian Act.”
The nomination of Sarah Geronimon in one of the most recognized international awards put pride to the Filipino talents. The World Music Awards is an international awards show founded in 1989 that honors recording artist based on worldwide sales figures provided by the International Federation of the Phonographics Industry (IFPI).
Here’s the categories wherein Sarah G. was nominated:
- World’s Best Female Artist
- World’s Best Live Act
- World’s Best Entertainer of the Year.
