The Commission on Elections (COMELEC) have already unleashed their new mascot against election campaign violators. The Philippine poll body published a 2-minute video clip featuring its poster boy.
The video features Boy Bawal issued a warning against campaign violators with a special participation of COMELEC Commissioner Sixto Brillantes who was quoted as saying that, “Umpisa na ang kampanya, kapag may nakita kayong bawal, pakisumbong niyo sa amin dito sa Comelec,” Brillantes stated.
Campaign violations includes oversized posters, campaign materials posted in public vehicles, trees and public structures.
