The “City of Smiles,” Bacolod City will be celebrating one of their grandest celebrations as a sign of solidarity between the Chinese community and the native of Bacolod.
Bacolod City will celebrate the Yearly Chinese New Year Celebration dubbed as Bacolaodiat Festival, their 8th year, this coming February 7-10, 2013.
The term “Bacolaodiat” came the from the two-words combined, “Bacolod” from the name of the City and the “Lao Diat” from the Fookien word for celebration.
