The highly-anticipated bout between two of the world’s most popular boxers, Nonito “The Filipino Flash” Donaire and Jorge “Travieso” Arce will push through and the date was already determined which will be held this coming December 15, 2012.
The Donaire vs. Arce bout is now a done deal according to Top Rank promoter Bob Arum. The game will be held at the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas.
Donaire who have previously won a decisive 9th round TKO over Japanese boxing hero Toshiaki Nishioka last October 13, 2012 at the Home Depot in Carson City, California, is now considered as one of the finest boxers in the world. Donaire dominated Nishioka and captured the WBC Diamond Belt.
Meanwhile aside from the announcement of the Donaire vs. Arce fight on December 15, Top Rank big boss Bob Arum also confirmed that the undefeated Filipino southpaw Mercito “No Mercy” Gesta (26-0-1, 14 KO’s) would face IBF lightweight champion Miguel Vazquez on the undercard of the fourth showdown between Manny Pacquiao and Juan Manuel Marquez.
Pacquiao’s camp on the other hand who is currently training in the United States have also confirmed that Filipino singing sensation and the SM Random Girl, Zendee Rose Tenerefee will be singing the Philippine National Anthem for the Pacquiao vs. Marquez IV boxing extravaganza.
