Usain Bolt Won the Gold Medal of the 100 Meters Final at the London Olympics (Video)

The fastest man on Earth proved once again his strength and stamina as he retained the title he held during the 2008 Beijing Olympics in the 100 Meters Final with a total of 9.63 seconds.

The race was considered as the shortest in Olympic history as the Jamaican runner, Bolt and his compatriot Yohan Blake dominated the 100 Meters final at the expense of the fastest runners from the United States and in the world.

The Jamaican duo of Usain Bolt and Yohan Blake is unstoppable in the Mens 100 Meters Finals in the 2012 London Olympics. World Record holder Usain Bolt clocked a total of 9.63 seconds and took the Men’s 100 Meters Finals gold medal. His achievement made an Olympic record and nearly beat his 100-meter world record last 2009 in Berlin with a total time of 9.58 seconds.

The 25-year-old Usain Bolt was indeed no doubt got a name for himself as one of the history’s greater sprinter. In the finals of the London Games, compatriot Yohan Blake challenged him who clocked his personal-best of 9.75 sec. Blake was the one who captured World Championship after Bolt’s false start.

Making it to the top 3 finishers in the Men’s 100 Meters Finals was the former gold medalist of the 2004 Olympics, Justin Gatlin, who clocked at 9.79 seconds.

Meanwhile American Tyson Gay was not able to make it to the top 3 finishers, but he was glad to be part of the world’s best runners in the 100 meters finals alongside the world’s fastest man, Usain Bolt.

Usain Bolt made a pronouncement that he wanted to participate in the upcoming 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janiero, Brazil if given the chance. Bolt will be 30-years-old then.
