Homemade Camaro ‘Happy Grad’ Ad wins Chevrolet Super Bowl

Chevrolet has called all filmmakers all around the world to create short films, and definitely, one will air during the telecast of Super Bowl XLVI, the 46th annual edition of the Super Bowl in American football, and the 42nd annual championship game of the modern-era National Football League (NFL).

Amazing, isn’t it? And after of hundreds of entries who wants to make it to the world of fame, the ‘Happy Grad’ ad won the contest. The ‘Happy Grad’ ad was written, produced and (–foul word(s) removed–)embled by a 26-year-old filmmaker from Long Island, N.Y. Zach Borst.

Zach Borst may be a homegrown filmmaker, but he’s no neophyte — he’s been shooting video since he was seven, and has several quality commercials online. He’d also won a previous Chevrolet competition at the Tribeca film festival; knowing what the client wants does usually help in advertising, and for the “Happy Grad” ad, Borst used friends for actors, camera help and locations.

‘Happy Grad’ ad was about a graduate getting a Chevrolet Camaro as a gift for a Chevrolet competition. It was greatly filmed in four hours, worthy of beating out 198 other video submissions and 400 scripts in the contest.

Check out for the ad and realize why Chevy picket it up! As it says, “How can you jog when you can drive?” 😀
