After the success of the movie “No Other Woman”,rumors started to circulate that Cristine Reyes and Anne Curtis will steal the spotlight to Pop Star Princess Sarah Geronimo as the new Box Office Queens.
In a statement given by Star Magic, they have confirmed that indeed the movie “No Other Woman” under Star Cinema is the highest grossing Filipino movie of all time Putting “You Changed My Life” in the second place.
According to Cristine Reyes, She is not in the position to claim any title rather it is up to the people to judge whether she and Anne deserves to be the box office queens.
Currently Sarah Geronimo is holding the crown as the “Box Office Queen” in her hit 2009 movie “You Changed My Life” with John Lloyd Cruz under Star Cinema which has total earnings of 209 million pesos.
Latest record of ABS-CBN suggest that the movie have earned more than 220 million pesos in its third week making it to the top 15 highest grossing movies this year next to Harry Potter part 2 in second place and Transformer at the number one spot.
Cristine expressed her biggest thanks to all the people who have supported their movie and added that she did not expect that it will turn out as success as it is experiencing today.
Meanwhile Reyes said that despite the controversies and problems that she has faced along the way, one thing that she has learned is the art of “deadma”.
She explained that in world of Showbiz many will try to bring you down and throw issues against you but then again you must learn how to disregard it even if sometimes it hurts.
