Host and comedian Vice Ganda said that he is not pressured with the success of the movie “No Other Woman” starring her close friend and co host in “Showtime” Anne Curtis together with Cristine Reyes and Derek Ramsay.
“No Other Woman” is now the highest Filipino grossing film with 250 million ticket sales as of October 16 and it also made it to the top 15 movies with highest earnings for this year, it landed third place following Transformer at the number one spot and Harry Potter part 2 at second place.
According to Vice Ganda, he is happy with the success of “No Other Woman” but said that he is not pressured to follow or to beat the record of the movie.
In an interview with Vice, he said that all he wanted is for people to enjoy his movie “Praybeyt Benjamin”. The comedian also added that even if it won’t beat the record of Anne’s movie as long as people will laugh and even for just a moment forget their problems it’s already okay for him.
Vice said that he is aware that “No Other Woman” was really a huge success, but then again he rather not to think that Anne’s movie have earned more than 200 million, instead he just want people to watch his movie and laugh. He is also confident that somehow the movie will become a hit to the public because it has a good plot and funny story.
The “Showtime” host and hurado promotes its movie to the public especially to those who need a break in their stressful life, “Praybeyt Benjamin” is the movie they should watch.
People who are waiting for the movie, it will be aired in cinemas on October 26 while its premiere night will be on October 25 at SM Megamall cinema 9.
