
Philippine Azkals Filipino-Spanish import Angel Guirado is “Good Vibes” Teen Star Coleen Garcia’s uncle. The 18-year-old actress confirmed in an interview with “Showbiz News Ngayon” that Angel Guirado was indeed her uncle. Azkal’s Guirado took pride for the playing with the emerging football heroes in Asia, the Philippine Azkals.
Coleen Garcia, one of the hurado of ABS-CBN popular talent show “Showtime” had only met once with her uncle Angel Aldeguer Guirado. Goleen Garcia is one of the promising actress on Philippine TV having played an important role for the “Good Vibes.”
Angel Guirado traced his roots and families from Isabela although born and raised in Spain but still he loves the Philippines so much, the determination and the inspiration brought about by the fans who believed the Azkals can make a difference in football. The 6’2 forward who used to play for the Spanish team had been a key player for the Azkals.
Guirado was undefeated since he suited up for the Philippine Azkals. He scored a total of 3 goals in all his game with the Azkals. Last time against Sri Lanka, he scored the third goal which he considered as one of the most memorable goal he had ever score for the team. His versatility and ball movement was helpful for the team to reach the second round Asian qualifier for the World Cup.

The 6’2 forward Guirado was being eyed also by the different professional football team in Asia including Japan, Indonesia, China, UAE and Philippines for a possibility of playing to a certain club after his contract with the Spanish third division club Ronda. His cousin Rafa Garcia acts as his agents and interpreter while staying here in the Philippines and a possibility of living here with his girlfriend Rocio.
Angel Guirado was now in Spain and will be back in the Philippines for the trip to Bahrain in preparation for their second round qualification bout against the much talented Kuwaiti National Football Team. The Azkals will leave for Bahrain on July 13 and will play for Kuwait in a home and away game.
Azkals versus Kuwait game will start on July 23 at the Kuwaiti suburb of Hawalli and will be back to play at the Rizal Memorial Stadium in Manila for the second game scheduled on July 28.
