Talk’N Text Tropang texterplayers feels disappointed after they were stranded at the Dubai Airport last Saturday after the local organizer who brought them to Dubai wasn’t able to pay their hotel bills and return tickets and so some p(–foul word(s) removed–)ports of the teams were hold by the Hotel.
Coach of the Talk’N Text, Chot Reyes posted in her official twitter account expressing his frustration to what happened to his team in Dubai and said this is such a nightmare.
Three teams were brought to Dubai by Local Organizer Ramon Pizzaras for PBA Governors Cup Middle East Swing including the team of B-Meg and Ginebra however the two teams were not stranded only the team of Tropang Texters.
Just to return to the Philippines, members of the Tropang texters were forced to use their own money to buy a ticket and fly back home. They scattered from different schedule of flights, some departed at 3:20am (United Arab Emirates time) and others booked at 5:55am until 9:20am flight.
Chot Reyes son, Joseph also showed his disappointment when he posted in Twitter that he feels sorry for the team and added that for sure members of the TNT are very exhausted after this happening.
According to Coach Chot, he already warned the officials of the PBA about this organizer and said that this is not the first time it happened because the said organizer also recently brought the team of Ateneo and La Salle in Dubai and he still has a dept to the two teams.
In their game in Dubai, Talk’N Text won the match against Barangay Ginebra with a score of 123-113 but lost to B-Meg Derby 105-111.
