Jacklyn Jose, a well-respected Filipina actress, finally broke the silence regarding the spreading issue that her daughter Andi Eigenmann was allegedly slapped by her boyfriend and called her a “cheater”.
“Andi is not a cheater,” the veteran artist defended her daughter in an official statement published in the ABS-CBN entertainment segment, “Showbiz News Ngayon”.
As Eigenmann’s mother, Jacklyn Jose knows best about her daughter. She told the media that Andi is a “loving daughter, a professional actress and a decent human being.”
Jose definitely emphasizes the value of their family’s privacy by privately keeping their personal life out of news.
As a mother, she cannot afford to see Andi in pain. For this reason, Jose decided to voice out her opinion regarding the issue faced by her daughter.
“I commend Andi for handling this personal crisis with decency and respect,” Jose proudly stated as she prays that this issue will soon be ended as efforts are being made to happen.
Behind the controversies, Jose was able to thank those who continually support Andi Eigenmann.
It was last Sunday that the news came out from an entertainment talk show, The Buzz, that Eigenmann’s former boyfriend apparently accused her of cheating.
On Formspring, another social media site, Albie Casiño was questioned by a fan who wanted to know if he was the one who truly laid a hand on Andi.
The inquiry began when Saab Magalona, one of Andi’s close friends posted in Twitter saying that “somebody” had slapped Agua Bendita’s lead star.
But Casiño, her ex-boyfriend, denied such accusations. In Formspring, he defended his side saying that had never hit her. “Maybe one of her many boys did.” He even called Andi a cheater as he suspects that she might be even having a relationship with ten guys.
On the other hand, it was on The Buzz that a clarifications were made that it was not Casiño who used such account in Formspring.
Report says that before Eigenmann and Casiño entered showbiz, both already went steady for years.
