Unfortunately, the incident left him paralyze from his neck down leaving him in the intensive care unit for 96 days due to his back.

Since then, the unfortunate man slowly accepted that he can no longer play his sport.

At 21, Rob is very limited to his motion as he is confined in a wheelchair.

But earlier, Rob became the recipient of an electronic robotic exoskeleton. It was strapped into his body, and almost unbelievable able him to walk again.

Using 79 electrodes attached to his skull, the machine convert the brain signals into movement.

For a record, Rob has become the first tetraplegic in the world to wear the REX.

“It’s a real experience. For me just walking itself is unusual and then controlling the walking myself as well – I don’t know how to describe it properly to be honest…The strange thing is looking down at your toes from that high up and seeing them moving.” He shared the experience.

Rob added that the machine effectively does what it says on the tin.
