One of the newest member of the House of Representatives, Camarines Sur 3rd district congresswoman-elect Ma. Leonor “Leni” Robredo revealed that she will embarked in a “tsinelas leadership” the term popularized by her late husband Jesse Robredo.
During an interview by Karen Davila on Headstart, the wife of former DILG Secretary Robredo, she revealed that during the entire campaign she was wearing slippers.
According to Cong. Leni Robredo, she found it easy to get people to trust her because of the legacy left by her husband, Jesse, who was also a former mayor of Naga City.
Some of Cong. Leni Robredo’s plans for her congressional terms is to use her pork barrel for performance incentive fund. Despite the fact that she was up against one of the most popular clan in Camarines, the Villafuerte’s she was able to win with a 70,000 vote margin.
