The Professional Regulations Commission released the January 2013 Architecture Licensure Examination today, February 6, 2013.
The Architect Licensure Examination was held last January 25 & 27, 2013 Friday and Sunday in Manila and with the total of 1,557 of examinees, 816 p(–foul word(s) removed–)ed the board exam for architect.
Board examination for architect kicked off at exactly 7:00 a.m. to 7:45 for general instructions and filing of forms. On the first day of examination, the subjects are History and Theory of Architecture; Principles of Planning; Architecture Practice which ran from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and Utilities Systems/Structural Conceptualization/Building Materials and Reconstruction.
On the other hand, the second part of the examination covers Architectural Design and Site Planning.
Out of thousands of examinees, Rhoupheline Aya Acebes Cadiz from University of the Philippines-Diliman topped the exam with 87.60 percentage rate. Following on the second spot are Florence Anne Reyes from UP-Diliman and Erlwin Jerome Teon Tee from University of Santo Tomas with 86.50 and on the third spot is Eric Lipango Yadao from Tarlac State University (Tarlac College of Tech.) with 86.20 percentage rate.
