Aspiring young singer Krisha Aler joined the elite list of three-chair-turner in the Philippines most popular reality singing search for kids, “The Voice Kids” on Saturday night after she impressed all three judges with her rendition of the song “Through the Rain.”
Veteran Pinoy singers and recording artists Lea Salonga, Bamboo and Sharon Cuneta turned their respective chairs for the 10-year-old aspiring young singer from Marikina City who impressed them with her rendition of the song popularized by Mariah Carey.
According to Lea Salonga, Krisha Aler’s rendition is a sweet voice to her ears as she was quoted saying “Ang galing ng tenga mo. Ang ganda ng boses mo. Ibang klase ka. Sana sa akin ka mapunta,” Salonga said.
Pinoy rock icon Coach Bamboo on her part was also impressed with Krisha’s rendition of the classic song by saying “What I like is your vocal quality. Sa akin, noong tumataas ka na, that was parang the icing on the cake na lang. Kasi sa akin, I believed in you, doon sa umpisa pa lang. You have something,” Bamboo told Aler.
Although Krisha Aler was praised by both Lea Salonga and Coach Bamboo she decided to join the team of Sharon Cuneta.
