Internship Recommendation Sample Letter

Here is an Internship Recommendation Sample Letter you may use to recommend someone.

INTERNSHIP RECOMMENDATION SAMPLE LETTER – If you are referring someone for an internship, here’s a sample letter you may use as a guide.

A college student couldn’t go through without having to undergo being an intern. An internship is a look at how their chosen career paths would look like. Some institutions require this to graduate but some don’t which just prompts the student to look for in order to gain on-the-job experience. This experience can help you beef up your resume.

And being an intern, when looking for a company to accept you, at least one or two letters of recommendation might be needed. This letter must come from a qualified adult and this can go a long way. A sample letter of this is shown below.

Meanwhile, here are just some thing to remember:

  • Mention how you know the student and the things that he or she possesses that impresses you.
  • Indicate his or her improvement, qualifications, and character by providing brief background information.
  • Be formal, professional, and polite in your letter.
  • Remember to follow the right format of the letter.

Dear Miss Quezon:

I am writing you this letter to recommend my student Bernard Carlos for an internship in your company as a blogger. I have known Mr. Carlos for over two years as I have been his mentor in literature.

Mr. Carlos is a bright student and his ideas are always creative. He is the current editor-in-chief of our publication and he did great as a leader. He’s always been involved in school activities and also a part of the school’s debate team.

I believe that being a part of your company will give him the benefits he will need in his chosen career path. He is an honest and sensible young man and I can assure you that he would be a great addition to your company’s internship program.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me by phone at 444-444 or by email at [email protected].

Sincerely,

Susan Ramirez
