ACADEMIC REFERRAL LETTERS – Here are some types of Academic Referral Letters along with a sample letter you may use as a guide depending on your purpose.

For a certain job opportunity or whatever purpose it may serve, students and young professionals may need to submit an academic letter of recommendation or referral. This will be a great backup as it will highlight skills and personal attributes that can make someone be highly qualified to become a potential student or employee.  

You can have ask your teachers, guidance counselors, school administrators, club organizers and coaches to refer you through a letter as they hold the documents which indicate your achievements, and character.

Several types of academic recommendation letter include College recommendation, Graduate school recommendation, Job application recommendation, to gain financial aid, and to gain teaching assistant employment at a university.

  • Put a brief introduction.
  • Indicate the person’s qualifications and indicate his or her impressive skills such as his or her awards or recognitions, academic specialties, and demonstration of improvement.
  • Never forget to put your contact information and say thank you.
