Details About Dingdong Dantes-Marian Rivera Wedding Dubbed as PH’s Royal Wedding
DINGDONG DANTES-MARIAN RIVERA WEDDING – In December 2014, the Kapuso Primetime King and Queen officially tied the knot.
One of the celebrity weddings that a lot of people will surely not forget was the big day of Kapuso stars Dingdong Dantes and Marian Rivera. In December 2014, it was held at the Immaculate Conception Cathedral in Cubao, Quezon City.
It was a star-studded event that gathered not only the celebrities in the showbiz industry but as well as popular personalities in the political arena. It was graced by then President Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino III.
Dingdong and Marian met in the industry. As a couple and loveteam, they are most popular for their roles in the Philippine adaptation of the Mexican TV series MariMar.
Broadcasted by the GMA-7 network, the project was top-billed by Marian who played as MariMar and Dingdong who played the character of MariMar’s love interest, Sergio.
The on-screen tandem of Dingdong and Marian led to a real-life relationship. The Dingdong Dantes–Marian Rivera wedding was dubbed as the Philippine’s Royal Wedding.
Undeniably, it was a very luxurious wedding but, as for Dingdong, he wants to give the best for Marian. The two (2) celebrities have a happy family now together with their two (2) children – Maria Letizia and Jose Sixto.
It was in November 2015 when Marian gave birth to her eldest with Dingdong, Maria Letizia or “Z”. Four years after, the celebrity couple welcomed their second child, a son they named after the actor Jose Sixto. He is fondly called as Ziggy.
