The Department of Education (DepEd) and the Local Government units (LGU’s) in areas affected by Habagat which was intensified by Bagyong Egay and Bagyon Falcon was the main reason why some schools’ cl(–foul word(s) removed–) were suspended on Wednesday, July 8, 2015.
Various cities in Metro Manila and nearby provinces were affected with heavy rain and flooding brought by the southwest monsoon or “habagat.” Although there is no Public Storm Warning Signals right now, PAGASA warned of “heavy to intense” rains due to habagat enhanced by Bagyong Egay and Bagyong Falcon.
PAGASA reported earlier that Bagyong Falcon already entered the Philippine Area of Responsibility at 9:30 PM on Tuesday night.
