Pokwang Wants To Change Daughter Malia’s Last Name

POKWANG – Actress Marietta Subong a.k.a Pokwang revealed she wanted to change the surname of her daughter Malia.

Pokwang and Lee O’Brian separated in November 2021. But it was only made public in July 2022. In recent weeks, the actress revealed that Lee has another woman.

She even joked I hope it’s not “chaka,” which means the ex-boyfriend replaced her as uglier than her. She also admitted that for almost six years she has been supporting Lee financially and letting him in her house.

This is contrary to what she said on July 20, 2022, in an interview with 24 Oras, that they did not fight over money. She said, “Nasasaktan lang ako dun sa mga nababasa ko, kesyo palamunin ko raw. Masipag po iyong tao.”

The 52-year-old obviously had a bad breakup with Lee as she calls him “ingrato” and “palamunin.” She even wants him to leave the Philippines.

Pokwang still hasn’t let go of his tirades with ex-partner Lee O’Brian. On Instagram yesterday, March 1, 2023, the comedian responded after followers who were affected by Pokwang’s claim that Lee was a toxic partner before.

A netizen suggested that Malia’s last name “O’Brian” should be removed now that Pokwang and Lee are separated. The netizen (published as is) said, “@itspokwang27 ganda ng anak mo Madam, if ako syo sunod mo sa surname mo, hindi worth it gamitin nya surname ng ex mo, Ms. Universe Malia Subong in the making.”

The Kapuso actress confirmed that this is what she plans to do. “Inaasikaso ko na po,” she said.

Another follower of Pokwang commented about Lee. A netizen said (published as is), “Mommshie pokwang, hawig talaga ng ex huaband mo si malia, ang ganda pero syemrpe ang pagkapilya eh kay mommy pokwang.”

The comedian objected to referring to Lee as her “asawa.” Pokie emphasized that she and Lee are not married. She said that Lee is afraid of responsibility so she feels sorry for his future wife.

Pokie’s response to the netizen (published as is), “hindi po kmi kasal so hindi ko sya husband hahahahaha takot yan sa responsibilidad kawawa pakakasalan nyan.”
