Edu Manzano shared his thoughts on the recent issue being faced by his son
Veteran actor Edu Manzano reacted to the investment scam issue involving his son actor-host Luis Manzano.
Luis is facing an Estafa case filed by investors of Flex Fuel Corporation. Reports stated that the actor-host was summoned by the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI), however, it was said that his lawyer was a “no show.”
Luis is the former chairman of the said company. Reportedly, he already resigned from his position last year. Previously, Star for all Seasons Vilma Santos shared her reaction to this present predicament being faced by his son.
In a recent interview, based on the article in Abante Entertainment, Edu Manzano was asked about the said investment scam issue. “I guess, he’s okay. You know, he did the best thing. He gave to the lawyer and I don’t need to defend my son. He knows exactly what he’s doing,” the veteran actor shared.
Smiling, Edu said, “May edad na ‘yon, e.” He added that at the end of the day, he is optimistic that everything will be okay.
Meanwhile, Edu shared that he has not seen yet her granddaughter Baby Rosie, the first child of Luis with his wife Jessy Mendiola. The veteran actor said that he has been very busy with his showbiz engagements and he wants to have at least a three-day rest before meeting his granddaughter for safety purposes.
“I work every day so, at least ang protocol, three days na pahinga before we see Isabella. So, as soon as I get the three days na makapag-isolate ako, then, I will visit her,” Edu Manzano explained.
