3 Robbery Suspects Steal Donation Box From Church in Cagayan de Oro City.
ROBBERY INCIDENT – Three suspects have been caught on camera stealing donation box from a church in Cagayan de Oro City.
Nowadays, robbery has been one of the major problems not only in the Philippines but also in various regions all around the world. Some criminals have no choice but to commit crimes due to lack of job opportunities.
The Philippine government is implementing stricter policy but the crimes continue to exist behind the knowledge of the authorities. The rate of criminality continue to increase despite the stricter rules and regulations.
Installing CCTV cameras at home or business establishments can be a great help to prevent crimes or identify suspects. Criminals will be subject to corresponding sanctions and penalties depending on their violations.
The CCTV footage installed inside a church in Cagayan de Oro City captured the robbery incident inside the building. Three young teenagers entered the vicinity and also stole the box containing cash.
In the video, the young thieves entered the St. Augustine Metropolitan Cathedral and observed the surroundings. After clearing the surroundings, the three took the donation box and immediately run away.
According to Father Allan Polgo, the parish priest and rector of the Church said that the culprits used the ceiling to enter the building. The priest said that it was not the first time that robbers ransacked the church.
The police authorities are now trying to locate and find the suspects.
