Cedric Lee Reacts to Vhong Navarro Temporary Release from Jail
Businessman Cedric Lee reacts to the temporary release of tv host-actor Vhong Navarro after being detained for harassment charges.
According to his attorney Alma Mallonga, TV personality and actor Vhong Navarro recently posted his $1 million bond and was released from custody at Taguig City Jail. According to Mallonga, Navarro was released because “all procedures had been complied with,” and the court approved the release order.
A Taguig court previously approved Navarro’s request for bail in the r6pe case brought by model Deniece Cornejo against him. Meanwhile, Cedric Lee responds to Vhong’s brief release in the meanwhile. He claimed that the conflict has not ended and that God is not dozing off, according to a report by GMA News.
You may recall that billionaire Cedric Lee was one of the people Vhong accused of attacking the actor. He is also one of the witnesses in Deniece Cornejo’s lawsuit against Navarro for alleged rape by Vhong.
In conjunction with the alleged racial assault of Deniece by the TV personality, Taguig prosecutors filed a case against Vhong Navarro. Due to what it claimed to be an inconsistent statement, the DOJ previously dismissed Cornejo’s case.
However, the Court of Appeals granted Cornejo’s camp’s request to have his complaint dismissed. The Court of Appeals ruled that it would be preferable for Vhong to use the case’s trial to establish his innocence of the accusation made against him.
