The popular American television host and comedian Jimmy Fallon hilariously attempted to say some random Tagalog words to promote his late-night talk show “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.”
On Tuesday December 16, 2014, the Philippine entertainment cable channel, My Movie Channel posted a video of video of Jimmy Fallon saying Tagalog words, including “lapis, bangka, tsokolate and kamatis” on their official Facebook page.
As of posting, the video has now garnered more than 10, 000 views, 136 likes and 98 shares. Some netizens were delighted to hear Jimmy Fallon saying Tagalog words while some laughed at his accent.
“The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” which originally airs on NBC airs also on My Movie Channel on Tuesdays to Saturdays via satellite at 1 pm while the primetime telecast airs at 11 pm.
The show features famous Hollywood celebrities, prominent persons and hilarious parodies of Jimmy Fallon impersonating singers and musicians. It was being aired also in different countries including Australia, New Zealand, Canada and Europe.
Jimmy Fallon started hosting the “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” in February this year, making him as the sixth host of long-running “The Tonight Show” franchise.
