Details about the UNDAS 2022 Road Closure in Manila
UNDAS 2022 ROAD CLOSURE – Here are the roads that will be closed in Manila from October 31 to November 2, 2022.
The All Saints’ Day and All Souls’ Day are fast approaching and preparations have began. In Manila, the cemeteries have been checked in preparation for UNDAS 2022. Many people are expected to visit their loved ones in cemeteries.
Usually, during UNDAS, there are roads that are closed to pave the way for the crowd that visits the cemeteries. There are re-routing. The local government units (LGUs) may implement different rules with regards to cemetery visits most especially that the country remains in the midst of a pandemic.
With regards to road closures, the UNDAS 2022 road closure in Manila is set in these roads beginning 10:00 p.m. of October 31, 2022 until 5:00 p.m. of November 2, 2022:
- Stretch of Aurora Boulevard from Dimasalang Road to Rizal Avenue
- Stretch of Dimasalang from Makiling Street to Blumentritt Road
- Stretch of P. Guevarra from Cavite St. to Pampanga St.
- Stretch of Blumentritt from A. Bonifacio to P. Guevarra St.
- Stretch of Retiro from Dimasalang Road to Blumentritt Extension
- Stretch of Leonor Rivera from Cavite St. to Aurora Boulevard
Based on the report, the following are the alternative routes for the motorists:
- Public utility jeepneys from Rizal Avenue and Blumentritt may turn right at L. Rivera or Isagana and turn right in Antipolo
- PUJs from Amoranto Street in Quezon City may turn right in Calavite and turn right at A. Bonifacio Avenue
- PUJs from Dimasalang may turn right at Makiling Street and turn right again at Maceda St.
