Lady Netizen Shares Video of Thieves Stealing Mobile Phone from Their Sari-Sari Store
A lady netizen lambasted thieves for stealing a mobile phone containing Gcash account from a sari-sari store.
Over the past few years, robbery has been one of the major problems not only in the Philippines but also in various regions all around the world. Some criminals have no choice but to commit crimes due to lack of job opportunities and poverty.
The Philippine government is implementing stricter policy but the crimes continue to exist behind the knowledge of the authorities. The rate of criminality continue to increase despite the stricter rules and regulations.
A Facebook user named Grace Ocampo has shared the video footage of a riding-in-tandem who stole a mobile from their sari-sari store. The video garnered various reactions from the online community.
In the video, it can be seen that a male suspect pretends as a customer and had a transaction with the sari-sari store owner. At first, the transaction seems to be fine and the suspect had a casual conversation with the victim.
After a few moments, the suspect snatched the owner’s mobile containing a certain amount of digital cash. The culprit immediately runs away after stealing the phone. The victim tried to chase the thief but he failed to do so.
Ocampo also seeks help from the netizens to share the video to arrest the suspects.
