PAGASA Releases Latest Weather Update for Monday (May 30)
The state weather bureau PAGASA reported that the low-pressure area will bring cloudy to rainy condition over some parts of the country.
On Monday (May 30, 2022), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration released the latest weather update. The low-pressure area will affect the country’s weather condition.
PAGASA reported that the Localized Thunderstorms will be affecting Luzon. It would bring partly cloudy to cloudy conditions with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms over Palawan including Kalayaan Islands and Occidental Mindoro.
The provinces of Batanes, Cagayan, Isabela, Quirino, Nueva Vizcaya, Aurora, Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, La Union, Pangasinan, Abra, Apayao, Kalinga, Mt. Province, Ifugao and Benguet will experience similar weather condition.
A low-pressure area has been last spotted at 330 km East of Hinatuan, Surigao del Sur. The Southwest Monsoon will be affecting the western section of Luzon.
The LPA will bring cloudy weather condition with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms over the entire Visayas. It has a slim chance of developing into a storm.
“Mababa ang tsansa na maging bagyo pero kahit mababa ang tsansa na maging bagyo, inaasahan pa rin ang pag-ulan dulot ng low pressure area at ito’y maapektuhan sa Visayas at sa Mindanao,” Pagasa weather specialist Aldczar Aurelio said.
Metro Manila and the entire Luzon will have a fair weather condition except for possible isolated rain showers.
Meanwhile, the coastal water condition over western section of Luzon and Visayas will be moderate. The surrounding sea condition over rest of Luzon and Visayas, as well as Mindanao will be slight to moderate, according to the weather agency.
