Will Regine Velasquez take the place of Karla Estrada in the Kapamilya morning talk show?
Asia’s Songbird Regine Velasquez was asked during a recent interview if her hosting stint in Magandang Buhay will be permanent already.
Momshie Karla Estrada had to leave the show for now because she is running for party list representative. The Queen Mother has started going around the country for campaigns.
Because of this, Regine joined Momshies Melai Cantiveros and Jolina Magdangal. For having a new momshie companion, it is inevitable for viewers to think that the Asia’s Songbird will replace The Queen Mother.
Regine Velasquez was asked about this in an interview after her contract renewal with ABS-CBN, based on the article in The Philippine Star. She stressed that she is in Magandang Buhay temporarily.
“Guest host pa lang ako ngayon sa ‘Magandang Buhay’ kasi nga wala si Momshie Karla so I am the one doing her part now. But I am having such a wonderful time working with Jolina and Melai,” she said.
The singer also said that viewers can definitely see that she looks like she is just playing on the set because she is enjoying this hosting stint. Although she does hosting for ASAP Natin To as well, the two programs have different formats.
Regine also expressed gratitude to her home network for giving her this kind of opportunity. “I am so happy that I was given the opportunity to do a morning show with two other girls who I love very much. They are all so game, sobrang nag-e-enjoy lang talaga ako,” the singer said.
Then, Regine Velasquez quipped that she is not a true host and just pretending to be one, Nevertheless, she is happy for this stint.
