Albee Benitez released a statement about the Lunch Out Loud
Rumors circulated recently that the noontime show Lunch Out Loud airing on TV5 is set to bid goodbye but Brightlight Productions CEO Albee Benitez slammed the fake news.
Benitez’s production company has started producing shows for the Kapatid network in 2020 like Oh My Dad, Sunday Kada, Sunday Noontime Live, I Got You, Rated Korina, and Lunch Out Loud.
Currently, only LOL and the magazine show of Korina Sanchez continued airing. Just recently, rumors or rather blind items talked about a noontime show that will soon go off the air.
Many showbiz fans are pointing at LOL, the noontime show hosted by Billy Crawford, Alex Gonzaga, Bayani Agbayani, KC Montero, K Brosas, Wacky Kiray, Jeffrey Tam, and Laboching.
However, businessman-politician Albee Benitez debunked the rumors. Based on the recent Instagram post of showbiz writer Salve Asis, Benitez denied that LOL will bid goodbye anytime soon.
In his official statement, the Brightlight Productions CEO said that the ratings of their noontime show “have been thriving well and remained competitive vis-à -vis its rival shows’ ratings in Luzin and, on numerous occasions, even surpassed them in the Visayas and Mindanao.” This is based on the ratings gathered by Neilsen.
Benitez condemns the malicious rumors about the show he is producing and stressed that it has nothing to do with his political endeavors. He is running for Mayor in Bacolod City.
The businessman-politician takes pride in saying that Lunch Out Loud is able to survive for more than a year now amid the challenges brought by the pandemic. He also promised that the show has a lot of exciting things to offer in the future.
“I would like to reassure the public that LOL stays committed in giving fun, laughter, and prized to every household,” Benitez said.
