HIDILYN DIAZ – Olympic gold medalist Hidilyn Diaz cosplayed as Encanto character Luisa Madrigal for her 31st birthday.

Hidilyn Diaz is a weightlifter and Air Force Staff Sergeant. She is the first Pinay to bring home an Olympic Gold Medal. She’s now engaged with her longtime boyfriend and coach Julius Naranjo.

The Guamanian weightlifter proposed to her when they went to Sheraton Manila with Iza Calzado and Precious Lara Quigaman. He popped the big question to Hidilyn with a custom-made engagement ring featuring a barbell with a diamond on top.

The Pinay champ turned 31 on Feb. 20. In an IG post on Sunday, February 20, Hidilyn penned about how she wanted to celebrate her birthday this year.

Hidilyn channeled her inner Luisa Madrigal, a character from Disney’s musical fantasy comedy film “Encanto.” The photos were taken by her fiancé.

“I want my 31st birthday to be extra special, I had been celebrating my birthday outside the country since 2019, it’s my first time again to celebrate my birthday with friends, family, and fans.”
