Homeowners of Subdivision Expresse Frustration on Dirty Water Coming Out From Their Faucets
The homeowners of a subdivision in Bacoor, Cavite have expressed their complaints regarding the “Burak” coming out from the faucet.
The residents of Veraville Townhomes expressed their frustration regarding the dirty and contaminated water coming out from their faucet. The villagers are experiencing the same problem for already 13 years.
The homeowners complained about the frequent outage of water supply. Some of them even suffered skin disease due to contaminated water. They were also disappointed on their dirty laundry.

According to a resident named alias Sally, the water supply problem started in 2008 but the issue gets worse throughout the years. She decided to install a water pump or locally known as “Poso” to get water.
“Mga 2008 nagsimula na ito. Pasira-sira tapos magkakaroon, tapos mawawala. Katulad ngayon two months na naman kaming walang tubig sa araw. Sa gabi naman mayroon, konti lang pero marumi,” Sally said.
The villagers have made their own source of water due to the water outage but some residents don’t have the capacity to make their own water supply. Several residents have suffered from various skin diseases.
The Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development legal officer Jezreel Zapantasaid that the homeowners can ask request for assistance from their office. V.A.A. Builders Corporation, developer of Veraville Townhomes has released a statement regarding the issue.
“We are currently rehabilitating and repairing our water facility…and we assure you that we will be communicating to all complainants to resolve the matter the soonest,” the developer said.
