Police Arrest a Pedicab Driver After Victim Identified Him for Snatching Phone
Police authorities arrested a pedicab driver accused for snatching after his victim identified him for stealing cellphone in Quirino Avenue, Manila.
A 38-year-old guy was arrested for snatching by officers from Manila Police District-Police Station 6 (MPD-PS 6). He was apprehended after a delivery employee recognized him as the culprit in the suspected theft of his iPhone while riding in a truck.

Joel Lugos, a Tondo resident and pedicab driver, was identified as the culprit. At the Manila Prosecutors Office, he was charged with robbery (snatching) under Article 293 of the RPC.
The event happened around 11 p.m., according to the victim, Rey John Francisco, a 24-year-old delivery crew member from Paco, Manila. He was allegedly riding in their truck when the suspect took his P8,000 black Huawei y6 mobile.
He dashed to an undetermined location after successfully grabbing the valuable. Francisco requested sleep at MPD-PS 6, so he carried out a follow-up operation in the medal day area.
The victim identified the suspect as the reason for the police arrest. On the other hand, Francisco was unable to locate the purportedly stolen cellphone.
