Kapamilya actress Julia Barretto shared this post slamming the pregnancy rumors involving her and Gerald Anderson and a netizen commented that it is an old photo.

Julia broke her silence on the allegations against her due to the “pasabog” post of former broadcaster Jay Sonza. The latter claimed on his Facebook post that Julia is now pregnant with Gerald’s child.

Since last year, the rumors linking the Between Maybes lead stars have been circulating online. However, they haven’t directly denied nor confirmed these rumors.

The recent video that was taken by Gerald’s personal assistant allegedly showed that the rumored couple is together in Zambales. They haven’t answered this allegation also.

However, following the controversial post of Jay Sonza, Julia Barretto and Gerald Anderson posted about “fake news” almost at the same time. In a previous article, netizens pointed out that the actor was quick to answer the pregnancy rumors but he is still silent if he and Julia are in a relationship with each other.

In Julia’s post slamming the pregnancy rumors, as she showcased her well-maintained figure, a netizen accused her posting old photos. Several celebrities showed support for Julia as well as from her fans.

However, Instagram user @itsmelighting said, “Old photos kasi inu-upload ehh…” This received criticism from other netizens and from fans of the actress. They defended Julia Barretto against this harsh comment.

IG user @itsmelighting did not stop there as she also said, “the truth will set us free.. So, wait na lang tayo sa truth.” Another netizen said that the public should wait after 9 months if this rumor is really true or not.
