What’s Toni Gonzaga parenting style to make Seve be aware of the country’s current situation?
TONI GONZAGA PARENTING STYLE – This is how Toni Gonzaga and her husband explains to their son Seve the current situation of the country.
Small children are surely not going to remember this year where the whole world battled versus Coronavirus Disease 2019 or also called asCOVID-19 bur they might be confused now as to why they are not allowed to go out and play like they used to before. Or even wonder why their classes ended early this year and will start later that usual.
As parents to toddlers and young children, it is probably hard to make them realize such serious and major health crisis. And Toni Gonzaga, who is a mother to three-year-old Seve, has this way, along with her husband Paul Soriano, to give light to his young mind about the current situation.
According to PUSH, Toni said that the only thing that has become an advantage to her during the quarantine is that she get to spend a lot of time with her son. She cherished and making the most out of their situation staying at home.
But as for her little kid, she said, “I don’t think he’ll ever remember our country experienced this pandemic or this crisis. I think what he will get from all of this, what he will remember from all of this, is that Mommy and Daddy were always home.”
And to help him understand the COVID-19 situation, they see to it to let him know everything in the simplest words possible that he can easily grasp the idea. They also see to it that they let him watch speeches of President Duterte.
Although he my understand everything but they are there to explain to him the important points such as the virus that’s making people sick and the president will be the one to say when they are allowed to go out again.
She shared as per report, “Even if the President is saying so many things na hindi naman niya naiintindihan in Tagalog sinasabi namin na he needs to listen to this, this is what’s going on. ‘That’s the President, he’s talking to us and he will let us know when we can go back again outside.'”
