Manila Mayor Isko Moreno & Other Local Officials to Donate Their Entire April Salary
Manila Mayor Isko Moreno and the other local officials in Manila would donate their April salaries to the Philippine General Hospital.
The Facebook page “Isko Moreno Domagoso” announced that Manila Mayor together with Vice Mayor Honey Lacuna, Majority Floor Leader Joel Chua and all City Councilor in the National Capital Region will donate their entire salaries for the month of April.
The city officials would donate their wages to the Philippine General Hospital to help the patients affected by the coronavirus disease as well as helping the frontliners. The total amount of their donations is expected to reach P4.7 million.
The 45-year-old politician is hoping that their donations could help the frontliner in the healthcare sector to fight the coronavirus disease.
The Philippine General Hospital in Manila is one of the designated health institutions in the Philippines for patients infected by the deadly virus.
