Biñan City Mayor Shares Photos of Alden Richard’s Donations

ALDEN RICHARDS – “Hello, Love, Goodbye” actor Alden Richards donated food to the coronavirus front liners in Biñan City.

Coronavirus frontliners are among those exempted from the work-from-home arrangement. Philippine President Rodrigo Roa Duterte implemented the “enhanced community quarantine” to halt the spread of the novel coronavirus or COVID-19.

Department of Health (DOH) said the country now has 217 confirmed cases and 17 deaths due to the coronavirus. The government has implemented various measures to end the crisis.

Several netizens and celebrities took to social media to seek donations to help the health workers risking their lives to fight against the deadly virus from China. In a previous article, Kapamilya actress Bela Padilla successfully raised P3.3 million to help the street vendors in Metro Manila.

Based on a report from GMA News, Kapuso Hearttrob Alden Richards has donated food to the health workers on Biñan City, Laguna. The young actor owns a McDonald’s branch in the said city so he decided to give out a box full of food from his restaurant.

Biñan City Mayor Len Alonte shared the photos of the actor’s donations to the city on her Instagram account. It came with a caption, “Thank you so much, bro @aldenrichards02 & family for your donation for all the frontliners sent through our family. God bless you and your family more!”

“We love Mcdonald’s Biñan!!! We love you, Alden!” she added.

In a previous article, comedian Pokwang has prepared snacks for the police and soldiers conducting checkpoints in Metro Manila. She also donated sacks of rice to people who are affected by the quarantine.
