Bela Padilla Successfully Raised P3.3 Million For Street Vendors

BALA PADILLA – ABS-CBN actress Bela Padilla said her crowdfunding efforts for the street vendors in Manila has raised P3.3 million.

Last month, Kapamilya actress Bela Padilla started her online fundraising “Pagkain Para sa Pinoy” for the street vendors affected by the community quarantine in Metro Manila. She aims to provide help for them since they won’t be able to earn enough money amid the coronavirus crisis.

Philippine President Rodrigo Roa Duterte has implemented tougher measures to combat the spread of the deadly virus from China. On Tuesday, March 12, he placed the country under a state of calamity for 6 months.
