Police Official Involved in Laguna Helicopter Crash Still in ICU with Critical Condition
LAGUNA HELICOPTER CRASH – One of the police officials who were aboard the chopper that crashed in Laguna is still in critical condition in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
Yesterday, March 5, 2020, many people were left shocked and worried after a helicopter carrying Philippine National Police (PNP) Chief Archie Francisco Gamboa crashed in Laguna.
The PNP Chief was in San Pedro City for the inspection of the impounded vehicles. After it, he was supposedly off to Calamba City through a chopper with several other people.
However, shortly after the helicopter made a take-off, it strangled in the power lines causing it to crash. The PNP Chief and the other passengers including police officials were rescued and brought to the hospital.
Currently, one of the police officials involved in the Laguna helicopter crash, Police Major General Jose Maria Victor Ramos, is still in a critical condition. Based on a report on ABS-CBN News, Umagang Kay Ganda’s Kevin Manalo expressed that Ramos is currently in the ICU in a hospital in Biñan, Laguna.
The police official suffered from facial fractures. Based on the report, he is unconscious but he has reflexes. The hospital currently does not allow transferring him to another hospital as he is in critical condition.
The family of Ramos is watching over him as he fights for his life. There were also police officials deployed to guard him and several vehicles kept on arriving in the hospital.
As of this writing, there are still no further information regarding the condition of the police official. More updates may be posted soon.
