PNP Chief Archie Gamboa Rescued Following Helicopter Crash
PNP CHIEF ARCHIE GAMBOA – Philippine National Police Chief Archie Gamboa was rescued and brought to the hospital after a helicopter crash.
Recently, reports about an unexpected incident involving Philippine National Police Chief Archie Francisco Gamboa crossed the surface. Gamboa figured in a helicopter crash in Laguna.
Gamboa is the 21st chief of the PNP, one of the major security forces in the country. The man from Davao is also a lawyer.
Gamboa and several others boarded a helicopter in San Pedro City, Laguna. Based on a report on ABS-CBN News, they were in the place for the inspection of impounded vehicles.
The PNP Chief was supposedly off to Calamba town when the accident happened. According to an ABS-CBN reporter who was at the area when the incident took place, the chopper got tangled with the power lines shortly after it made a take-off.
Based on the report, PNP Chief Archie Gamboa was conscious when he was rescued following the helicopter crash. He was already rushed to the hospital and as well as the other passengers of the chopper.
Reportedly, a 2-star general was also one of those who boarded the aircraft. It was still in flames at 8:20 in the morning.
