Baguio City Temperature Drops To Its Lowest For Three Years
BAGUIO CITY – The morning temperature of Baguio City, the summer capital of the Philippines has dropped to its lowest for three years at about 9.4 °C.
According to Inquirer, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration’s (PAGASA) synoptic station captured the record-breaking low temperature at about 6 AM.
PAGASA added that this is the effect of the northeast monsoon or amihan, which prevails between the month of October and early March
The coldest morning temperature was recorded on Wednesday 7:45 AM at 10 °C.
In March 11, 2018, the lowest temperature was at about 11.2 °C, while on January 28, 2019, it is at about 9.8 °C.
As per the report, on February 14, 2017, its coldest is at about 7.3 °C, while the lowest temperature recorded in the city was about 6.3 °C on the 18th of January in the year 1961.
