Jollibee Taking Actions Against JoyRulBee for Copyright Infringement

The popular fast-food chain Jollibee Foods Corporation is now taking necessary actions against the China’s copycat restaurant JoyRulBee.

Previously, the reports regarding the Chinese fast-food chain named “JoyRulBee” rapidly spread like a wildfire online.

JoyRulBee is a copycat of the popular Philippine fast-food chain “Jollibee” from the logo and the store colors.

Jollibee Foods Corporation (JFC) is now taking legal actions against the Chinese copycat for copyright infringement.

“Our legal team has been taking the necessary steps in order to protect and uphold our company’s trademark rights as provided for under the law,” JFC said.

The copycat store in Guangxi, China copied the exact logo, store design, and color motif of the fast-food giant.

The infringing restaurant goes viral after a netizen film the store logo’s and design, which is considered as a law violation.

JFC is one of the largest fast-food chains in the Philippines with over 1, 100 outlets nationwide and has branches in Mainland China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Malaysia, the US, Canada, Italy, and the UK.
