Miss Universe 2018 Sierra Leone Not Able To Join Pageant, Joins Audience Instead
MISS UNIVERSE 2018 – One of the candidates for the Miss Universe 2018, Miss Sierra Leone Marie Esther Bangura, was unable to join the pageant and she became part of the audience instead.
Recently, the Miss Universe 2018 was held in Thailand. It gathered 94 lovely ladies from the different countries vying for the Miss Universe crown. The prestigious international event has hooked many people.
From 94 candidates, the list was narrowed to Top 20 and then to Top 10 down to Top 5 and finally the Top 3. The Top 5 and the Top 3 underwent the Question and Answer portion which sparked excitement to many.
Among the Top 3 finalists, Philippines’ bet Catriona Gray was crowned as Miss Universe 2018. It is the fourth time that the country won in the said prestigious event.
Not known to many, there was supposedly another beauty queen who will vie for the crown according to Wikipedia. She is Marie Esther Bangura and she will supposedly represent Sierra Leone.
According to the post, she arrived too late in Thailand due to problems on her visa. She was not able to register but the organizers welcomed her to watch the show in the audience.
Instead of competing for this year’s event, Miss Sierra Leone will compete in the Miss Universe 2019.
